Mid-Week Banking is a regular column which commenced on 16 Feb 2000. Every mid-week, an article on a particular aspect of banking will be posted on our website's Frontpage. The article will be updated in this page. Articles will appear on our website's Frontpage according to the schedule below. You can diarise to visit our website on the appointed dates for the articles you are interested in. Remember, we are using Singapore dateline which is +8 hours GMT so our articles may appear ahead of that date in your country.

You may have noticed that our mid-week falls on a Thursday instead of a Wednesday. It's intentionally so because we realise that Singapore time is ahead of most of the world. Therefore, we would like the column to come online when most of the world wakes up on their Wednesday.

All articles are written by our editor who is a former private banker with seventeen years of experience in banking.
