1. Take a stroll down Hill Street. The Central Fire Station, Armenian Church, Funan IT Mall, Peninsula Shopping Centre, Singapore Chinese Chamber Of Commerce, Excelsior Hotel are to be found here.

 

This shows the beginning of Hill Street.

Stamford Court is on the right; the building under construction stands in the former American Embassy premises.

That's the Grand Plaza Hotel on your left. The tall building behind it is Peninsula Plaza. The other tall building is High Street Centre.

On the right side of Hill Street stands a building still under construction. It occupies the premises vacated by the American Embassy.

Also on the right side of Hill Street is the Armenian Church completed in 1935 and consecrated in 1936.
