We
have set up this section as a tribute to the people, things and
places belonging to a part of our heritage. Some of them were
common-place fixtures in our recent past, but which - with the
passing of time - have become embedded in our past as memories
only. We take pictures of them to record their inevitable
passage into the annals of the history of Singapore.
|
|
We may never see the
likes of some of these fixtures - human or otherwise - again, but our
children and their children, through these pictures here and in other
record books of history, may come to appreciate the past - before their
time - that we have lived through.
