The pictures were
taken on the dates listed below. Sometime down the road, when you
take a look again at these pictures, notice the clothes worn and the
things around, such as the cars, etc. You may find that there has
been a change in the fashion and the overall look.
Perhaps, in 20 years' time,
when you look at these pictures again, you will notice a greater
difference. For the camera has captured a part of the modern history
of Singapore. This is Get For Me Singapore's contribution to our children and their children - a record of the times
through our pictures.
Daily
Scenes temporarily stopped taking pictures due to manpower shortage
from February to July 2001. From August 2001, Daily Scenes will post
some pictures here every week for your viewing pleasure but the pictures
will be of a better quality as we have purchased a new digital
camera.
With effect from 14 Oct 2001,
Daily Scenes has been renamed Eye On Singapore. |
