Yau's exciting programme explores how different composers
perceive the great oceans, in music by Wagner, Mendelssohn,
Rimsky-Korsakov and the late Japanese composer Toru
Takemitsu. The latter's I Hear The Water Dreaming has a
sensuous solo part for the flute. Talented piano duo of LOW
Shao Ying and LOW Shao Suan will give the Singapore premiere
of Max Bruch's Concerto for Two Pianos. |
