Click on the dish to see the preparation of the dish. The dishes featured here are typical Singaporean dishes cooked in the home kitchen for a Hokkien family in Singapore. Most local Chinese dishes are stir-fried in a wok. The cooking oil usually used is peanut oil. You can also use corn oil. A lot of work goes into the preparation of the ingredients, but the cooking takes only a few minutes.

  Have fun!
