Whether you are depositing money at your neighbourhood bank, attending a pop concert, going to work in a high security government building or entering Singapore through the checkpoint after a holiday across the Causeway, the CISCO Auxiliary Police officers performing their security duties there are a common sight.

For more than 45 years, CISCO's Auxiliary Police officers have donned a uniform that is almost identical in colour to those of the Singapore Police Force.
Moving forward, these officers have traded in the traditional navy blue they have long been associated with for an updated look in steel blue.
"Steel blue springs an image of our officers being men of steel. They exemplify professionalism, reliability and integrity and this sets the standards of excellence in security. This distinctive look will engender a sense of identity and pride among CISCO Auxiliary Police officers as belonging to Singapore's leading security organisation," said Mr Paul Chong, CISCO CEO.
The updated uniform also features a dash of brown in the form of a leather belt and a band around the black peak cap to differentiate CISCO from the other uniformed groups. To cap it, is the new CISCO crest. Prominently featured on the headgear, buttons and collar badges, the crest is symbolic of the CISCO standard in security, which all officers pledge to uphold.
CISCO Auxiliary Police officers will continue to be vested with the same Police powers and immunities. Guided by CISCO's core values of professionalism, reliability, integrity, customer focus and teamwork, the officers' commitment to discharging their mission with professionalism remains steadfast.
CISCO Auxiliary Police officers don the updated uniform from 15 June.
